Take your first step on the path to becoming NSA’s Last Story Standing Competition winner by entering our chapter preliminaries!
First, check out our NSA Wisconsin Last Story Standing Page for all of the details.
Next, prepare your 5-minute story and be sure it meets the competition requirements.
Then, register and pay the entry fee of $99 by November 15th.
Once you register, you’ll receive a link to upload your video. The video MUST be received by 11:59 pm on November 15th!
- All of the videos will be reviewed by a panel of judges.
- All competitors receive written feedback to hone their stories and the opportunity to get coaching.
- Second videos are due December 1st.
- Chapter Finalists will be chosen and announced by December 23rd.
THE CHAPTER FINALS
Our Chapter Finalists compete on the MYArts Starlight Theater stage in Madison on January 23rd!
This spectacular event is open to the public and we want a FULL HOUSE for our competitors!
NSA Wisconsin has hired a professional videographer and a professional photographer to capture the evening.
Finalists will receive photos and footage from multiple cameras. They can pay for additional editing of the video as well.
THE REGIONAL COMPETITION
The NSA Wisconsin Last Story Standing Champion is eligible to compete at the Regional level. In order to compete, the Champion's entry video submission and the Regional Finalist Fee must be submitted by a date determined by NSA National.
- Regional competitors will be assigned a Mentor to review and enhance their Chapter Champion story.
- The NSA Wisconsin Chapter Champion records their Regional entry video at the Showcase event in April.
- Competitors will then be required to submit their final Regional entry video by May 16.
- A panel of judges will review all Regional entry videos and provide written feedback.
- Regional Finalists are announced in July.
THE NATIONAL COMPETITION
The Regional Finalists will advance to the National Competition at Influence!
The National Competition will be LIVE on the mainstage at Influence - July 25-27th!
Panelists will provide constructive & positive feedback from the stage. Note: The National Panelists are not judges and do not vote.
The AUDIENCE will vote for their National Champion!
All National Finalists will receive:
- NSA Website Mentions
- Elite-Level Mentor Sessions
- Main Stage Recording and Photos
- NSA Email and Social Media Recognition and...
- A Trophy for the National Champion!
